JOB DESCRIPTION
The Multimedia Specialist will consistently deliver exceptional service to our client through excellent digital multimedia signage support. This position will be responsible for working with leadership to build industry best practices and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for digital multimedia signage. This role requires a strong understanding of multiple content management systems.
Along with other FIRST team members, the Multimedia Specialist will represent the FIRST Solutions brand on-site within a well-known tech company.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Coordinate daily operation of digital multimedia signage by also driving and consulting on SOPs
Coordinate the deployment of digital assets to video walls and custom digital signage
Quality control all media to ensure it adheres with all technical and compliance requirements
Coordinate with events and reception teams to ensure the accurate deployment of all media
Works with asset designers to ensure content is optimized for display
Perform basic audiovisual troubleshooting on hardware and software
Upload content via prefabricated templates, and has the ability to update content to conform to technical requirements
Label all content using naming conventions, organizers and keeps files for all layouts, players, tickers, media, etc.
Keeping up-to-date with technological and software developments, making sure to test products for errors and making amendments
As needed assist event production team with event support which could include set - up for PA systems, mobile display monitors, demo stations, etc.
QUALIFICATIONS:
3 – 5+ years’ experience of operating digital multimedia signage
Corporate/live events experience preferred
Bachelor’s Degree preferred
Fundamental knowledge of how systems work, what types of connectors are used, frame rates, assigning IP addresses, etc.
Experience working cross-functionally with all levels of stakeholders in a fast-paced environment
Experience working with multiple content management systems, LED video walls, and custom digital signage
Proficient in Adobe Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, Premiere, etc.)
Organizational and time management skills
Ability to execute tasks independently and efficiently
Creative problem solver, resourceful, team player
Adaptability to situations and ever-changing demands
Highly organized with the ability to handle multiple tasks to meet strict deadlines
Excellent time management and multi-tasking skills
