Day to Day

As a Director, you will oversee 360 digital strategy for Hearts & Science’s biggest entertainment client. In this critical role, the Director will be responsible for the day-to-day management of clients and campaigns. You will work directly with the Activation teams (Social and Programmatic) to develop pan-digital recommendations and cross-channel insights.

The Role
Client Management
  • Cultivate and grow client relationship by understanding business priorities and needs
  • Maintain a pulse on competitive landscape and everchanging media ecosystem
  • Lead campaigns and ad hoc projects
Campaign Strategy & Management
  • Curate strategic holistic approach with linear counterparts and cross digital disciplines; Create a collaborative process throughout
  • Manage channel mixes and budget allocations based on historical and campaign needs
  • Oversee campaign performance and optimization needs based on standard media metrics and other ancillary reports (Brand Lift Studies, Nielsen NRG Tracking, Search Demand)
  • Maintain relationships with partners to discuss holistic and campaign specific approach; Be on top of first to market products and Alpha/Beta opportunities
  • Be flexible based on campaign and team needs
Audience Curation + Creation
  • Work with partners, Marketing Science, and internal client DMP team to uncover opportunity audiences
  • Implement Test and Learn phases to inform main campaign
  • Utilize brand lift studies and other available metrics to provide strong rationale on future approaches
Team Management
  • Lead a team of 10+, while managing ~3x direct reports
  • Work with linear and digital disciplines to ensure client needs are met
Qualifications
  • 7-9 years digital experience 
  • Proven ability to work with and influence cross-functional teams 
  • Highly organized, extremely detail-oriented, and ability to multi-task in a deadline-driven environment 
  • Excellent communication skills 
  • Experience as a practitioner in at least one biddable channel 
  • Exceptional quantitative skills 
  • Knowledge with search, social, programmatic strategies and buying tactics
  • Experience in developing creative media/marketing content/moments in digital
  • Preferred familiarity with audience discovery using 1st and 2nd party data sets (i.e. onsite activity x Facebook insights)
  • Preferred prior experience in a client lead role
