Job Title: Paid Search Strategist

Day to Day
As a Strategist on the Paid Search team, you will provide guidance in the development, implementation, and maintenance of complex SEM campaigns - while delivering actionable campaign insights and optimizations derived from extensive reporting. You will also work closely with Assistant Strategist, helping to train them and foster career growth.
A successful candidate will have great attention to detail, an entrepreneurial spirit and be a team player + mentor to junior members, while bringing value to our clients. This role will also present the opportunity to partner closely with integrated media and marketing science teams
Support the Supervisor on day-to-day client management and requests
Oversee one – two entry level staff members effectively managing their training, workload, and prioritization as well as offer QA of work produced
Exhibit strong Excel skills including pivot tables, v-lookups, sumifs, etc. needed for consistent reporting
Gather, compile, and analyze large data sets to understand current performance trends and inform future strategic investment opportunities
Possess comprehensive understanding of multiple platforms and data sources
Clear understanding of business concepts and client objectives to identify campaign opportunities
Ability to develop and implement a performance-driven SEM strategy across a multitude of publishers
Comprehensive understanding of SEM campaign setups within platforms as well as bid management tools (i.e., Kenshoo, SA360, Etc.)
Deep understanding of targeting and audience management capabilities as well as SEM best practices and setup process
Bachelor’s degree required (Marketing, advertising or communications, MIS or stats preferred)
1-3 years of experience in paid search media at an agency or in-house
Exhibit confidence in analyzing and acting on marketing data
Be a proactive self-starter
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
Possess a desire to work for a fast-paced, results-based company
Have polished presentation, communication and listening skills
Have strong program management and organizational skills being able to manage multiple projects at once
Capability and desire to effectively manage junior staff members
