Strategic Account Manager

The Strategic Account Manager will provide oversight of the strategic and commercial relationship management with a portfolio of Online Sports Book and iGaming Operators and ensure that their operator portfolio meets P&L objectives. The role works in full collaboration with the Marketing organization as well as the Client Success team and the Business Development team to ensure the smooth management and delivery of strategic and commercial objectives by operator and across the portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

  • Overarching strategy and accountability for select group of strategic digital Online Sports Book and iGaming Operators

  • Accountability for Sightline P&L/profitability for specific Operators in portfolio

  • Create strategies across Portfolio with consideration to the following:

    • Operator type / size / potential

    • Industry opportunities and competitive threats

    • Enhanced Sightline capabilities as they come online or have strengthened business cases 

  • Continuously deliver the business case / data / rationale for Operators to embrace Play+ as the top funding mechanism

  • Identify opportunities for future growth / development / new revenue streams 

  • Ongoing Business Reviews with Operator portfolio



  • Bachelor’s Degree in business or experience in business field; MBA preferred

  • Proven track record of business development, partner management and setting strategic direction

  • Solid analytical skills to discern trends in results and identify potential headwinds and opportunities

  • Deep understanding of gaming ecosystem and ROI levers for Operators

  • Ability to anticipate industry changes and modify strategic objectives accordingly

  • Comfort in the balancing of Operator requests/requirements and resource prioritization

  • Able to make decisions which enable delivery of business objectives, accounting for commercial imperatives, client outcomes, financial impacts, etc

  • High standard of analytical capability, including translating raw data into meaningful information to support decision making



  • A visible and collaborative leader with the ability to innovate, recruit, inspire, challenge, and motivate others to achieve challenging objectives.

  • Possesses a ‘get it done’ attitude

  • Ability to observe, assess, recommend, and execute after considering input from a wide range of constituents
