This Senior Data Scientist role will support the development and execution of fact-
based reporting, analysis, and analytical models used to enhance decision making across the
marketing function within Sightline Payments. This role will be a core team member to drive the
data and analytic agenda and oversee continuous improvements in reporting / BI, database
segmentation, third party data, etc. in order to support the organization with insights and predictive
models to produce improved results and impact.
What will you do?
Provide reporting and analytics to support tracking of key marketing KPI's, campaign
performance, and funnel metrics.
Support the development of advanced analytics such as predictive modeling, segmentation,
design of experiments, and profitability measures.
Provide input into the development of an internal data warehouse to support acquisition
and portfolio campaigns such as contact history, including integration of agency data.
Support the Director and the CMO in securing buy-in from key stakeholders about marketing
operations and connect results from measurement to actionable business applications.
Manage dashboards and standardized reports to provide ongoing insight to marketing
stakeholders and work to ensure utilization and adoption of reporting by these stakeholders.
Work with marketing leaders to establish appropriate marketing key performance
indicators, ROI models, and predictive models for marketing campaigns to determine
efficiency and effectiveness, provide optimization recommendations, and influence
marketing campaign planning
5+ years of experience in analytics, data science, or related field.
Marketing experience preferred.
BA/BS or higher in relevant field such as statistics, accounting, finance, or economics.
Understanding and experience in building data structures to automate and support
campaign process as well as analytic functions.
Experience in optimization of marketing programs through use of segmentation and
Extensive knowledge and ability to use business intelligence tools such as PowerBI and
Tableau, as well as programming languages such as Python, R, SQL.
Familiarity with Google Analytics preferred.
Strong ability to translate quantitative data into actionable recommendations.
Strong communication and presentation skills, including the ability to translate analyses into
easily digestible content for executive management consumption. Strong work ethic and
Gaming experience preferred.
