Our client is a leading provider of innovative payment technology solutions.  Our client has a proven track record of delivering successful payment solutions for millions of patrons and billions of dollars in transactions in the casino, sports betting, online gaming and lottery industries. They partner with over 100 partners to provide embedded payment software for cashless payments.  We are looking for a Contract System Administrator to join our team with the opportunity to go perm/FT.
 

What you will do:
  • Work with the IT team to assist with a digital transformation as all systems are migrating to the cloud
  • Securely manage and configure servers, personal computing equipment, printers, network devices, etc.
  • Analyze user needs and deliver functionality within the framework of existing policy and compliance requirements
  • Define and document team processes maintaining flexibility while meeting compliance obligations
  • Participate in proactive assessments, testing, guidelines, definition of infrastructure, and projects plans for capacity planning, make recommendations, disaster recovery and performance
  • Participate in planning, deployment, review, release testing and implementation of hardware, software releases and patch management
  • Integrate third party tools and add-ons, and interfaces that strengthen technology services
  • Participate in operational support, change control, data requests and related support tickets
 
What you bring: 
  • 4+ years of recent practical autonomous experience with Microsoft Windows Server 2016+, Active Directory and Windows 10 installation and support
  • 4+ years of autonomous MS SQL Server admin support
  • Practical Internet Protocol networking, firewall management and VLAN operation
  • MS Windows desktop support experience
  • MS Windows Server and Active Directory Account administration
  • Experience integrating public cloud solutions such as AWS / Azure
  • Virtualized server management experience (Hyper-V or VMWare)
  • Fault tolerance and high-availability concepts, support and implementation
  • Consulting experience is preferred
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, every changing environment
  • Ability to work in Las Vegas in the office as restrictions lift
