Manager of Product Marketing

Our client is revolutionizing the way people learn online by giving them the tools they need to turn their expertise into a sustainable business that impacts both them and their audience. 

Their team is growing and looking to add a Manager of Product Marketing to lead the Product Marketing team that focuses on the messaging, customer segmentation, and overall product development of the company’s customer facing platform. Along with the opportunity to coach and mentor your team, you’ll collaborate with a variety of other cross functional teams and play a key role in developing Product Marketing strategies. 

Manager of Product Marketing
Vancouver, BC or Remote in Canada

 What you’ll be doing: 

  • Leading a growing team of 3 Product Marketing Managers with emphasis on career growth, personal development and team collaboration

  • Establishing a clear definition of target customer segments, how they buy, and their buying criteria

  • Building up a detailed understanding of our competitors and their offerings and how to surpass them

  • Managing and executing the launches of new product features while working with cross functional teams

  • Helping to craft the messaging and positioning for the company

  • Partnering closely with teams to create an engaging web presence, driving visitors and conversions

  • Influencing product development and launch strategies based on customer insight, market research, customer adoption, and market awareness

  • Communicating the value proposition of product features to the Marketing and Sales teams and helping to develop sales and marketing collateral 

  • Creating content such as sales documentation, product videos, website copy, blog posts, and webinars to articulate the benefits of our products to the world

  • Engaging directly with customers, partners and prospects to help them be more successful 

What you bring: 

  • 5+ years’ experience in Product Marketing, preferably in a SaaS environment

  • Experience leading and coaching a team within Marketing

  • A background gathering customer data and insights to make informed, data-driven decisions

  • Solid experience creating and executing content campaigns, online events, and/or other non-paid digital campaigns

  • Exposure working with a variety of cross functional teams and stakeholders
