We are looking for an experienced Spanish bilingual Human Resources Generalist to support up to 500 employees (perm and temp) at our client’s large fulfillment center in Devault, PA. We are looking for a skilled HR professional that can manage a wide range of HR functions to include employee relations, recruiting, legal compliance, and change management as well as create programs to ensure a positive and safe work environment.

The HR Generalist will be on a newly developed team and will report to the HR Manager. With a recent acquisition there are many new SOPs to introduce. What you will do:
  •  Serve as the first level of contact for employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring and escalating complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff
  • Participate and manage disciplinary matters, investigations, employment end, and unemployment claims while documenting everything in accordance with legal compliance standards
  • Administer and execute HR programs such as timekeeping, benefits, leave, personnel files and confidential documents within legal compliance standards 
  • Train and support leaders in developing and ensuring a healthy succession pipeline and positive employee relations and a safe and fun work environment
  • Manage programs such as Employee of the Month, debrief meetings, birthday and anniversary calendar events, announcements, treats, meals, special projects, employee welfare, and company news
  • Provide full-cycle recruiting services filling open positions, reviewing background checks and employee eligibility verifications, communicating status with candidates and hiring managers, onboarding
  • Conduct onboarding duties and new hire orientation
 
What you bring: 
  • Must be bilingual in English/Spanish
  • 3+ years of HR Generalist experience
  • 1+ year(s) of recent manufacturing environment experience, the more the better
  • Must have success with driving workforce change management  
  • Solid knowledge and use of applicable state and federal employment laws and regulations
  • Ability to speak fluent Spanish is a big plus
  • Strong HR technical skills - HRIS system experience, and MS Office Suite proficiency
  • Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience thriving in an ambiguous and flexible environment in order to work through complex organizational issues
  • Ability to work flexible hours is a must, knowing there is flexibility in schedule
  • Bachelor’s degree is required, preferably in HR or related field
