What you will do: 
  • Use an analytical and forward-looking approach to help ensure that Human Resources continues to thrive and grow to scale with quality programs that span the globe
  • Design and manage delivery of core HR processes, programs and infrastructure systems that strikes a balance between driving efficiencies, compliance with applicable labor and employment laws and regulations
  • Provide global operational direction and support to deliver on all people-related programs such as: payroll/HRIS management and processing, onboarding and exits, benefit administration, design competitive benefits including 401k, lead LOA process, work authorization and immigration, and enforcement of policies
  • Responsible for employee data integrity, including org changes, management changes, salary changes, transfers, promotions, terminations, LOAs, etc.
  • Drive improvement of processes, procedures, and policies
  • Coordinate and support company-wide HR programs and special projects, including partnering cross-functionally with other teams such as IT and Payroll to resolve employee issues and support improvement goals

What you bring: 
  • Human Resources professional with 8+ years of experience in HR operations, shared services, HRIS, etc. at small, private and global, publicly traded companies, a mix of experience is preferred
  • 2 years of people management and team development experience is required
  • PHR certification is preferred
  • Solid background working in the food, bio-technical, pharmaceutical or retail industries is required with international experience strongly preferred
  • Knowledge of applicable local, state, federal, and international employment laws and regulations
  • Proven success in solving problems and making decisions while using good judgment in an ambiguous and flexible environment in order to work through complex organizational issues
  • Strong HR technical skills, MS Office Suite proficiency and excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours is a must, knowing there is flexibility in schedule
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Human Resources, or related field, or equivalent is strongly preferred
