Customer Education Content Specialist

Our client is revolutionizing the way people learn online by giving them the tools they need to turn their expertise into a sustainable business that impacts both them and their audience.

Their Vancouver, Canada team is growing and looking to add a Customer Education Content Specialist to create education experiences that help the company’s course creators grow their businesses through online learning. You’ll be responsible for creating various types of content for webinars, email, training courses, to name a few. Additionally, you’ll have the opportunity to project manage the creation and delivery of the process.

What you’ll be doing: 
  • Designing and creating educational content for courses, webinars, resources and more
  • Researching customer needs, goals, and best practices to develop relevant and effective content
  • Collaborating closely with the Customer Education Lead to develop strategies to drive customer success objectives
  • Drive customer success metrics including activation, free to paid conversion, customer retention, NPS, and product adoption
  • Iterating on onboarding emails to drive customer activation metrics (ActiveCampaign)
  • Creating in-app product tours and collaborating with the product team on other in-app education initiatives
  • Conducting project management activities and executing day-to-day education initiatives (both individual and cross-functional projects)
  • Work cross-functionally with the support, customer success management, sales, and partnerships teams to produce educational resources for various customer segments
What you bring: 
  • 3+ years experience creating and delivering customer education content in a SaaS or software environment 
  • The desire to teach others and positively impact customers
  • Experience conducting customer research to drive content-creation decisions
  • A background in writing in-app and marketing copy
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, where you think on your feet and creatively troubleshoot to solve problems
  • Project management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines and balance multiple moving parts
  • Experience with data analysis tools (like Google Analytics and Mixpanel)
  • Exposure to building and optimizing onboarding emails, a strong plus
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
