Our client creates and designs tools for efficient living. They bring technology into everyday life and find ways to streamline simple tasks. Think well-designed trash cans that respond to voice commands, mirrors that speak with Alexa, and soap pumps that dispense with a wave of the hand.
 
The team is looking to grow their office in Torrance, California and is seeking a Retail Account Manager to join the Sales team.  You'll report to the VP of Sales and work with high-profile national retailers to grow their existing sales as well as develop new sales opportunities for the business. 
 
What you’ll do:
  • Increase profits and sales for your existing portfolio of key accounts
  • Find and develop new business with great potential for growth 
  • Create ambitious sales goals and achieve them with glowing metrics
  • Speak to the product as an expert and be an amazing brand ambassador with buyers and customers
  • Be there for your customers and accounts with amazing service and support
  • Travel approximately 25% of the time 
What you have:
  • Bachelor’s degree 
  • 5+ years of experience in Sales Account Management for Retail / Wholesale
  • Understanding and familiarity with the difference between national, mass, specialty and e-commerce retailers
  • Dynamic and positive attitude - great at getting people on board with your ideas
  • Energy - you're eager to learn and have the drive to make it happen
  • You speak clearly and effectively and can draft meaningful, concise emails and documents
  • Analytical and articulate - you can make sense of the sales numbers to make informed decisions
